1. Well, you can send me a copy of your current resume. peter@acmecv.com . it’s a great way to start. Two things to remember- confidentiality and commitment. Your privacy is our central concern- you can be sure that your information will not be shared with anyone else. And we do not use any email marketing methods or sell addresses to others. And no invoice will be sent until you love the final product and are eager to submit it. Pay for results, not promises.
2. New to the job Market? Can’t find your old resume? We can send a brief outline of the necessary information that we’ll need to begin.
3. Now the important part. We will research the important keywords, skills, and experience that employers in your region are looking for. Employers who offer great opportunities receive thousands of resumes. Instead of hundreds of reviewers, they rely on a text search algorithm ( known as an ATS or Applicant Tracking System) which counts the number of specific keywords that they are interested in and assign a score. Top scores go into a short list. Everybody else gets a polite “Thanks, but No Thanks.” I’ll compare your history with this keyword research and come up with a short list of additional questions to position you as a strong candidate for the job and ensure that your resume is ATS friendly.
4. When I receive the information, I’ll send a first draft for review and comment. This is when you personalize your resume. This is when I get comments like “I forgot to tell you, but...”. It’s where the magic happens.
5. Once you approve the final draft, you will receive a targeted resume and a general cover letter that you can use to craft your own cover letter. An even better strategy is to send a link to the position you are most excited about. Then I can target both the resume and cover letter. At this stage I schedule most requests in 24 hours.

There are many people who need help with their resume but who are unable make a commitment to a professional service. I have set prices based on the amount of time it takes to create it. More years of experience > More text > More research > More Time.
